Claim City Thrones
Each active City Throne remains independently held.
SOVEREIGNTY, EXPLAINED / 01
Claim a city. Build a national majority. Ascend to a country—or take the direct path. Hold enough nations to become a World Leader.
Direct Country Acquisition enters at the Country Lord stage.
THE FIRST THRONE / 02
Every supported city has a digital throne. After a successful acquisition, its current holder becomes City Lord for the applicable protected reign.
A City Lord may have a public sovereign identity, profile presence, map identity and reign history.
BUILD INFLUENCE / 03
Each active City Throne remains independently held.
Your active cities contribute to your share inside one country.
Cross the canonical threshold to become first in line.
THE CANONICAL THRESHOLD / 04
The denominator is the total canonical City Thrones supported by World Throne for that country—not every municipality or settlement in the real world.
required = ceil(canonical City Thrones × 0.51)21 / 42Not enough
22 / 42National Majority
SUCCESSION POSITION / 05
Reaching the threshold establishes the Majority Successor, subject to final server revalidation and the Country Throne lifecycle.
TWO PATHS / 06
Keep the majority at renewal to extend the same reign by +7 days.
The premium reflects the combined canonical economic value of supported City Thrones plus the approved Country Direct premium. It buys speed—not the cities or long-term control.
SEPARATE SOVEREIGNTIES / 07
Direct acquisition never transfers the City Thrones inside a country. Existing City Lords keep their reigns.

COUNTRY LIFECYCLE / 08
The Direct Acquisition Window lasts 24 hours. All displayed countdowns are informational; server/database time remains authoritative.
PROTECTED TIME / 09
Day 0 · Ascension
Day 7 · 51% revalidation
Pass → +7 days to the same continuous reign
Fail → reign is not renewed; succession begins
A Direct Country Lord does not need 51% during the protected Direct Reign.
Another Lord may still build majority and become Majority Successor, without overthrowing the Direct Lord.
VISIBLE MOVEMENT / 10
Country Races can show the current leader, controlled City Thrones, required majority and distance to 51%. They describe changing National Dominance—not betting, bidding or combat.

Hold at least 5 active Country Thrones and reach the required Sovereignty Score. Both conditions are continuously derived from active reigns. The current required score is 7.25.
It is not separately purchased and ends when either the active country count or Sovereignty Score falls below its requirement.

QUESTIONS / 13
A supported city’s digital World Throne territory. Acquisition gives 24 hours of guaranteed protection; ownership then remains active until successful replacement.
A new City Reign is protected for 24 hours. The Reign has no automatic 24-hour expiry: afterward you remain City Lord until another eligible claimant successfully finalizes acquisition.
No. The 24 hours are a protection period. After protection ends, you remain the active City Lord until another eligible claimant successfully acquires the Throne.
No. There is no bidding or highest-offer system. The Throne has a server-authoritative canonical price; the first eligible acquisition that successfully completes canonical finalization becomes the next Lord.
No. Users cannot raise, rank or outbid offers. City succession uses the fixed canonical takeover price, reservations and atomic finalization.
The current holder of a City Throne. It is a digital platform status, not legal ownership or public office.
Yes. Active City Thrones in the same country also contribute to your National Dominance.
Each active City Throne increases your share of that country’s canonical supported City Thrones and can move you toward National Majority.
National Majority requires at least 51% of the canonical City Thrones and at least 4 cities where the country supports that many. Countries with fewer than 4 require every canonical City Throne.
They have fewer City Thrones, but a country with fewer than 4 requires all of them. A one-city country can qualify by controlling its single canonical City Throne.
Yes. Countries with at least 4 canonical cities require the greater of 51% or 4 cities. Smaller countries require all canonical cities.
No. Before ascension it establishes Majority Successor status. A protected Country Lord is not overthrown.
The currently revalidated majority holder who is first in line for non-purchase succession when the lifecycle permits.
Yes. It is dynamic before ascension: falling below the threshold loses the position; restoring the required share can restore it after server revalidation.
The lifecycle may provide a Direct Acquisition Window before majority succession. If no direct acquisition succeeds, the current majority is revalidated.
The throne becomes vacant, may enter its configured Direct Acquisition Window, and then revalidates the Majority Successor if no direct acquisition succeeds.
7 days of protected Country Lord status.
At the renewal boundary, a confirmed majority extends the same continuous reign by 7 days.
The protected reign does not end immediately. Majority is checked at the renewal boundary; if it has not been restored, the reign is not renewed and succession begins.
72 hours of protected Country Lord status. It is a premium shortcut, not permanent control.
The active Direct Reign closes and a 24-hour Direct Acquisition Window begins. If nobody acquires the Country, National Majority is revalidated at the window boundary.
Direct Acquisition is the faster premium shortcut. National Majority is the harder strategic route and earns a renewable seven-day Reign.
A 24-hour succession period after a Country Reign ends. A valid Direct Acquisition can begin a new 72-hour Direct Reign; otherwise majority is revalidated when the window closes.
No. Direct sovereignty and National Dominance are separate during the protected Direct Reign.
No. Existing City Lords keep their City Thrones and may all be different people.
No. Country Lord is not a site-admin or city-admin role and cannot terminate, edit, price or transfer City Thrones.
Yes. The statuses describe different active reigns and do not automatically replace one another.
Yes, while each Country Reign remains active under its own lifecycle.
A derived prestige status requiring at least 5 simultaneous active Country Reigns and the required Sovereignty Score.
Meet both requirements: 5 active Country Reigns and the required Sovereignty Score. Status ends if either condition later fails.
No. It grants no control over other Lords, ownership multiplier, site administration or political authority.
World Throne countries contain different canonical territorial and economic portfolios. Sovereignty Weight recognizes that difference without using political importance.
A positive, deterministic Country Throne property that contributes to the current holder's active Sovereignty Score regardless of acquisition path.
It uses the approved HYBRID-SQRT normalization of canonical City Throne count and canonical City economic base, bounded from 1 to 7. It measures platform portfolio difficulty—not national worth.
Not with only five minimum-weight countries. Both 5 active countries and a Sovereignty Score of 7.25 are required. A sufficiently broad small-country portfolio can eventually qualify.
No. The minimum of 5 active countries remains mandatory even if the score condition passes.
No. A country's Sovereignty Weight is identical whether its active reign began through Majority Ascension or Direct Acquisition.
No. They are digital World Throne statuses and do not represent legal ownership, government authority, political office or diplomatic recognition.
World Throne titles are digital platform statuses. They do not represent legal ownership, government authority, political office, diplomatic recognition or real-world sovereignty.
